Confirel at the Mekong–U.S. Partnership Policy Dialogue: A Voice for Cambodia’s Sustainable Agriculture

Confirel was honored to represent Cambodia’s private sector at the 10th Mekong–U.S. Partnership Track 1.5 Policy Dialogue on Food and Agricultural Trade and Investment, held in Jakarta on June 4–5, 2025. Among just three Cambodian participants—alongside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and CDRI—Confirel was the only agri-SME invited to speak on the regional stage.

In a panel discussion that brought together government, private sector, and research institutions across the Mekong region, Confirel presented its integrated model of sustainable agriculture: from organic plantation and patented processing to export logistics and youth development. This 360-degree approach, rooted in 24 years of circular economy practice, captured the attention of multinational stakeholders and policymakers alike.

The dialogue led to nine high-potential partnerships and four new business leads with estimated revenue potential of $15–25 million over three years. Confirel also used the platform to advocate for climate-smart agriculture, certification readiness under EUDR/UKDR, and youth education in farming—aligning its mission with regional priorities.

This recognition reinforces Confirel’s commitment to positioning Cambodia as a leader in responsible, innovative, and export-ready agri-business.
